ソウル市立美術館慶熙宮分館は、ソウル市立美術館の分館として2003年7月に開館しました。慶熙宮の遺跡に位置するソウル定都600年記念館を展示空間として整え、広い庭と史跡地が集まっている空間の中で、多くの美術団体による多様な展示が開かれます。地上2階建てで２つの展示室、事務室で構成されており、流動的でダイナミックな感じを与える曲がりくねった内部構成と円形の廊下など独特な展示空間が目を引きます。慶熙宮分館は貸館展示が主に行われています。

楊花漢江公園は汝矣島支流の河口から江西区加陽大橋までで漢江南端に位置します。水辺に広く造られた芝生から見える景色が自慢で、近郊の仙遊橋を渡ると漢江にある島、環境再生生態公園である仙遊島公園と城山大橋付近の世界で最高の高さを誇る202ｍのワールドカップ噴水が見えます。汝矣島支流の河口から加陽大橋まで続くサイクリングロードがあり、仙遊橋の下には500ｍほどのススキ道があります。また、毎年5月になると美しい赤いバラの花が咲くことでも有名です。 

朝鮮王朝が開かれるや全州は豊沛之鄕（王の故郷）として重要視され、太祖元年(1392年)には完山留守府に昇格し湖南地域を管轄する全羅道の首府となりました。豊南門は、高麗の恭護王元年(1388年)に崔有慶観察使が築造しましたが、英祖の時（1734年）に趙顯命観察使が府城を大きく改築し、その時にに東・西・北の門は壊され、3階建てであった南門だけが残り、英祖43年3月（1767年）には火災で焼けてしまいましたが観察使 の洪楽仁が城楼を復旧し、名前を豊南門に改名しました。それが近年に時代考証をもとに復元されました。豊南門は、壬辰倭乱（文禄・慶長の役）の時は敵により火をつけられてしまい、またその後、東学軍が全州に進撃した際には豊南門で激戦を繰り広げた末に官軍を撃退し、入城し一時的ではありましたが和約を結ぶなど重要な歴史的瞬間を見てきた歴史的意味の大きな城門です。かつては豊南門の鐘閣で鐘をつくことで府城内に朝夕を知らせていたとされ、現在ではソウルの普信閣の鐘のように１月１日午前0時に除夜の鐘がつかれます。

宝物第2号に指定された普信閣（ポシンカク）は、ソウルの繁華街・鍾路（チョンノ）の交差点にあります。この普信閣の鐘は朝鮮時代、時を知らせる役目をした鐘で、当時ソウルには人々が出入りする4つの大きな門があり4時に33回打てば城門を開き、午後7時に28回打つと閉め、都への出入りを規制するといった役割を果たしていました。元々の普信閣鐘は壬申倭乱の時火に溶けて無くなりましたが、1468年（世祖13年）に再び作り直され国立中央博物館に保存されています。現在鍾路にある鐘は全国の人々からの寄付により集められたお金で1985年に作られたものとなっています。普信閣のある鍾閣はソウル市が1979年に作ったもので、普段は進入禁止となっていますが、毎年12月31日に行われる打鐘式には毎年たくさんの人が訪れ33回の鐘の音を聞き一年最後の締めくくりをします。

雪岳シネラマは雪岳山と東海岸のある江原道束草にあります。シネマのCINEとドラマのRAMAを掛け合わせたのが名前の由来で、映画やドラマのオープンセット場を利用した新たなリゾート文化施設です。まるでタイムスリップしたかのように感じる施設は国内最大規模約2万7千坪にも及び、高句麗城を始め、唐の皇宮、官庁、則天武后の後園、貴族村、高句麗の庶民村などを再現しています。そして当時の市場町をそのまま再現したチャントクッパや弓矢体験をできる国弓場、乗馬遊びなどの様々な体験型施設も併設されています。

水原市は、韓国の重要文化遺産であり世界文化遺産にも指定されている水原華城を広くアピールするため、水原華城博物館をオープンしました。水原華城は、朝鮮の築城技術を基盤にし、そこに中国、日本の築城方式と西洋の築城技術を導入し作られたことから、世界の城郭の総和であるといえます。常設展示空間には、水原華城の築城過程と都市発展の過程を見ることのできる華城築城室と、水原華城にまつわる人物である正祖（1752～1800、朝鮮22代目王）の8日間にわたる行次（王が行列を引き連れて外出すること）、華城に駐屯した壮勇営（朝鮮後期の王、王室、宮廷を護衛する軍隊）などの姿を見ることのできる華城文化室があります。また、常設体験室が用意されており、子どもを対象にした体験教育も実施されており、様々な教育プログラムが行われています。

華城の南門で宝物第402号に指定された門。門の前には甕城が丸く囲んでおり、城門右側のレンガには城門を築造した関係者の名前と人数が彫ってあります。この八達門（パルダルムン）は他の城門とは異なり、城とはつながっていませんが、これは周囲に商店が立ち並んでおり、周辺の復元が出来なかったためです。
